Sonia Rykiel presented Fall Winter 2017/18 collection during the fifth day of the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by the the life, work and personal style of french artist Niki de Saint Phalle, the collection plays with the unfettered psychedelia of colors, texture and details.

“Free spirits who reject conformity, the restraint of tradition and the status quo. Rebelling against an established sense of order, in an idiosyncratic, personal, whimsical and never predictable way. Exploring the need for a woman’s voice to be heard, using her creativity as a channel, whatever her chosen métier, whatever the context of her time – a form of essential self expression, whether through her art or the clothes she wears for the reality of her daily life.” – from Sonia Rykiel
