The designer Mary Katrantzou designed a series of couture dresses by Walter Rothschild at the "Creatures & Creations" exhibition, photographed by star photographer Ellen von Unwerth on the grounds of Waddesdon Manor. Vogue shows you the pictures!
The exhibition "Creatures & Creations", which is still to be shown until the 29th of October in the "Coach House" gallery in England, includes the works of Planton H as well as the couture designs by the fashion designer Mary Katrantzou. Both works of art are based on the collection of Walter Rothschild, a banker and zoologist who devoted his entire life to natural history. While Planton H uses Rothschild's work as inspiration for his colorful, virtual collages based on abstract patterns of wings, feathers and insect bombs, the designer Mary Katrantzou also took the colors and forms of nature as an example, a haute couture collection , which is strongly reminiscent of impressive peacocks and delicate butterfly wings.
