Fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli presented Valentino‘s Fall Winter 2018.19 womenswear collection inspired by the romanticism and grace, during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The collection shows that sensibility and authenticity are strengths placing them above rationality and stereotypes.

Grace is authority. Verticality as vigor. Being romantic as a way of living life. The Valentino Women's Fall Winter 2018-19 Collection by Pierpaolo Piccioli gives form to the freedom of being, subverting clichés: romanticism not intended as fragility but as real strength. In this modern ode to romanticism, beautiful and giant flowers come as intarsias and embroideries on sleeves and voluptuous hoods. Long silhouettes for dresses, jackets and coats worn over straight trousers in tones of blush pink to scarlet, cerulean blue, vivid red, green and mustard-gold.
