As the reinvention of an iconic fragrance, Obsessed plays on the evocation of memory through scent. Mixing memory and desire, masculine and feminine, the past and the present, these compelling fragrances echo the original Obsession, yet blur and reformulate scents for both men and women today.
The new campaign continues the 20-plus year old Obsession story, with black and white imagery of a young Moss with translucent bottles of the new fragrance. The simple yet effective imagery is very nostalgic, channeling the American brand’s iconic campaign that led to much of its success.
Sorrenti said that he was “obsessed” with Moss, no pun intended, but it is fitting that Simons and the duo revive the Obsession story for the new Obsessed fragrance.
